8 Months

Happy 8 Months!

These photos are becoming more interesting to obtain. We’ve got a squirmy wormy baby that wants to go go go and sitting still for a photo isn’t on his list of things to do!

Some quick updates:

-He says “Da-da-da..”, “Mom-mom-mom…” and other babblings.

-He has his 2 bottom teeth, one of his top teeth has cut through and the other top one is about to break through. We had absolutely no troubles with the bottom teeth, but the top ones have been a little worse. It hasn’t been too bad, though, so I am grateful for that.

-He now “Swims” across the floor from room to room. He pushes up on all fours, but the movement is on his tummy with plenty of reaching and pulling with his hands, and pushing with his feet. The animals officially fear for their lives.

-He can clap his hands! I’ve been doing it a lot to try to teach him and just last week, he started doing it. I want to get a video of it, it’s so cute.

-He went to a 1st birthday party! There were only 2 other babies there, but he took the opportunity to play with toys that aren’t his and eat his first Go-Go Squeeze!

-Foods he’s eaten: sweet potatoes, pears (he LOVES sweet potatoes and pears mixed together….we can’t feed it to him fast enough!), peas, applesauce, banana, puffs and oatmeal. We made blueberry sauce the other day, so we may try that with oatmeal, since he wasn’t too fond of it when it was plain.

-Still a fan of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. My work here is done.
