People are often shocked at all the ways I tell them they can make extra money online. I especially love when my coworker tells me she is about to buy something online and asks me to tell how she should but it to get the best deal and the most cash back…or when she is in disbelief at a program I tell her about to get free stuff.
The best part…YOU DON’T NEED A BLOG!
That’s right, you don’t need a blog to utilize some of these awesome methods. Here are ways I know of (many of them I use myself) to make money and score freebies.
Ebates If you shop online, Ebates should be your first stop. They give you cash back for shopping at any of the thousands of online stores in their directory simply by going to Ebates before you begin shopping or checkout. If you’re not a member yet, sign up for free here and get a free $10 gift card after your first $25 purchase, then when you are ready to shop, simply go to Ebates first to search for the store. If the store has a % cash back deal, click the link they provide that brings you right to the store where you’ll shop just as you normally would! Even if there isn’t a cash back deal, they offer coupons for almost any online retailer. Payments are issued quarterly. I have gotten quite a bit back just from buying Halloween costumes and stuff from the Disney Store.
Swagbucks
Swagbucks is a daily rewards program. There are lots of ways to earn points to buy gift cards from Swagbucks: by shopping (similar to Ebates above), taking surveys, playing games, taking a daily poll, searching the internet and you can even get a free point each day just for having their toolbar installed on your browser. I’ve earned several Amazon gift cards from Swagbucks.
MyPoints
MyPoints is also a daily rewards program with many of the same methods of points-earning as Swagbucks (above).
BzzAgent
BzzAgent is a social marketing site where you can sign up for campaigns to receive a free product in exchange for your social shares and word-of-mouth reviews. You don’t get anything overly expensive, but I have received coffee, makeup, movie rentals, snacks and more. You don’t need a blog, but reviewing the product on your blog is one way to increase your score (higher score = more accepted campaigns). You can also earn points for MyPoints for actions you complete in the campaigns, helping you get gift cards quicker!
Influenster
Similar to BzzAgent, Influenster sends you invites to qualify to receive their product-filled “VoxBoxes.” What you receive is dependent on whether you fit the criteria of the campaign.
