Yes, you read that right…did you know different countries spell “jewelry” differently? I didn’t know that when I was contacted to review Circuit Jewellery, which is located in Hong Kong, and had to look it up! But, regardless of how it’s spelled, I have some wonderful items to share with you today.

I’ll start with my favorite piece…the Awakening Crystal Bangle. This bangle is absolutely gorgeous.

It is covered with little crystals, making it elegant enough for a dressy occasion but not too flashy, so you can still wear it everyday too.

I love that it has a front magnetic closure that you just pull apart and push back together, making it super easy to put on with one hand.

In the past, I haven’t been a big ring person. I like how rings look, but because my nails weren’t always the best-looking, I didn’t want to draw any attention to them. Well, I have been doing well with my nails lately and they actually look nice…so I was excited to try wearing a fashion ring (and because my wedding ring doesn’t fit me right now!).

Back to my flowers. I chose the Recognize bouquet from the Volcano Collection, which includes Orange Lillium Asiatic flowers. After a week, I took another photo after several more flowers bloomed and it looks even better than the first day!

Hershey’s Kisses

Send me chocolate in the mail and you are my bestie forever. Unfortunately, my bag of candy was sliced right down the center somehow and all the little Kisses were all over the box. The box itself was sealed, so I figured the chocolate was still ok. Besides, Brett ate several of them first, so if anything was going to happen, it would have happened to him first lol.

Frizz-Ease 3 Day Straight Flat Iron Spray

I was definitely excited to try this. I flat iron my hair most days, but some mornings I just don’t feel like washing my hair, which is a good thing anyway but I don’t like to skip days because my hair gets oily fast. But on those days that I skip washing, I usually just throw it in a ponytail because I don’t want to do any styling again. With this spray, I was able to leave my hair down the second day and have it be just as straight as the day before.

You just spray 7-10 shots (or however many you need to give your hair coverage) onto damp hair, then blowdry and flatiron. It says it lasts 3 days, but I don’t intend to to that long without washing my hair…at least not on days I have to leave the house.

Vaseline for Men Spray Lotion

A while back, I received the women’s version of this spray lotion and loved the convenience of it…spray all over and then quickly rub in. It’s so light that my hands never felt greasy and it didn’t require me to spend 5 minutes rubbing it in. That’s probably a big reason Brett is terrible at using lotion, so I was hoping he would use lotion more if it was more convenient and easier to apply. He keeps this on the bathroom counter as a reminder, and although he forgets some days, he definitely uses it much more than any lotion before.

Boots Botanics Ionic Clay Mask

I always get a little nervous about masks, because some have the opposite effect on me and I end up breaking out, but this one didn’t do that. It’s definitely not pretty…

…but it was easy to put on and made my skin feel nice afterward. You leave it on for 10 minutes and then rice it off. It didn’t leave my skin feeling dry and tight, as some class make often do. Trent gave me a funny look at first and then he was fascinated and kept wanting to touch my face.

Kiss Lashes

A Kardashian, I am not…so I have never attempted fake eyelashes. Well, maybe once for a Halloween costume, but it didn’t get any further than looking at the glue and the lashes, getting confused and saying nevermind. I honestly can’t think of many places where I would actually wear these for…a toddler has prevented us from going to fancy parties and clubs. Although let’s be honest here…we never went to those places before. We must be boring. Anywho…Brett has the longest eyelashes I’ve ever seen and Trent definitely inherited them…so I am jealous of the 2 boys in the house. I haven’t tried these yet, because I want to save them for a time when I could actually use them instead of wasting them. These look extremely easy to use and not over-the-top as some other fake lashes out there.

Red Rose Simply Indulgent Tea

Unless it’s sweetened with sugar and iced and called sweet tea, I’m not really a tea drinker. I prefer coffee or soda for my caffeination fix, but if you put “Creme Caramel” on something, I will totally try it. These were a delicious deviation from my normal drinks and I like how the Lemon Chiffon was decaffeinated, so I could try it without going over my caffeine limit for the day…oh the life of a pregnant woman.

I am a big believer that you get what you pay for when it comes to nail polish. I don’t really put colors on my fingernails, mostly because my fingernails look terrible (New Year’s Resolution for the 20th year?), but I do like putting colors on my toenails. However, I am kind of lazy about it…I like having a good quality polish that I can paint on and forget about it for a few weeks and not have to worry about chipping or peeling. I’ll find a color I like and if it works well, I will continue to use the entire bottle until I can no longer scrape any nail polish out of it (does it bother anyone else how those brushes NEVER reach the bottom?!).

Since I had JUST painted my toenails, I figured I’d be brave and paint give myself a little manicure with my new PURPLE nail polish!

When I first put this nail polish on, I immediately noticed that the color stays true to what you see in the bottle…the purple is just as dark and doesn’t come out looking watery.

The brush itself is actually different than any I’ve seen before…it’s wide and flat, helping to provide better coverage with each swipe on your nail. I think this helped me, seeing as my nails are small and short, the less strokes I have to make, the less chance of error.

However, I don’t like how small the bottle opening is…it’s only slightly larger than the brush handle. I foresee many messes being made by me quickly trying to brush back in the bottle and accidentally scraping the sides.

I put on 2 coats, just to make sure they would show up really well in the photos, but I probably could have gone with just one. And the “Triple Shine” in the name is the truth…I didn’t even need a top coat, the polish was shiny enough that I didn’t need it!

Going back to what I said in the beginning of this post about getting what you pay for…drugstore brands of nail polish sometimes get a bad reputation for not being good quality, but this nail polish is trying to give that reputation a run for its money. You can quality nail polish in bold, shiny colors without breaking the bank with Sally Hansen Triple Shine.
