I guess there’s a reason I’m not a “fashion blogger” or “beauty blogger” (yet), and that’s because I tend to get something I like and use it all the time until it can’t be used any longer and I ask for a new one. One of those things being purses. Those are usually on my Christmas Wish List each year and I will use it the entire year. And because I didn’t ask for one last year, yep…I am still using the same purse from 2 years ago. I would love to buy them more often, but since I have one that works, I don’t even think about getting a new one.

So when I purchased my first Erin Condren Life Planner, I wanted a cute binder or bag to put it in…to protect it and keep it together with pens and papers, etc. I searched the local Walmarts for a bag I had seen on Instagram, but had no luck. So I went to TJ Maxx and found this beauty…My very first Coach bag!

Quite a difference going from Walmart to Coach, huh?

It was marked down, as most things at TJ Maxx are, and my planner fit in it perfectly. It also came with a small pouch, which is perfect for my pens and stuff.

That same day, I hit up the Target One Spot and found some planner goodies. It was a fun shopping day indeed.

LOVE that movie!

So when I was looking around the Ruffles with Love website, I just had to get Aubrey and I matching shirts that say it!

These shirts are too cute! Each one comes with a matching bow on the shoulder.

Both the onesie and the shirt are lightweight and stretchable. The words are in glitter, but we did not get glitter everywhere, so it seems to stay put on the shirt, which is definitely a bonus. So many outfits with glitter get it everywhere! I wish her letters stood out a little more, but I do like the abundance of pink!

I could see this shirt being a good workout top or a pretty version of a casual jeans and a t-shirt look. Since I am pretty tall, I particularly liked that the shirt was long enough for me.

Well, I guess it was bound to happen…Aubrey and I wearing matching outfits…and I love it!

One day, she’ll smile for the camera LOL

This is a nice, lightweight necklace and the leaf is a pretty feature….wear it alone with a v-neck shirt for a nice accent, or layer with other necklaces to create a bold statement!

It’s time to share another Influenster VoxBox! I love seeing these pretty pink boxes in my mailbox.

This one is the #ModaVoxBox, filled with beauty items - my fave!

Rimmel ScandalEyes Rockin’ Curves Mascara.

This mascara is very black, which I love. It has a curved brush, which they are calling a “broken heart brush.” I don’t like the curve of the brush, because I can’t figure out how I’m supposed to properly use it, so I just use each part separately on my inner and outer lashes. It didn’t clump and stays on pretty well. I’ll continue to use it until it is empty, but I’m not sold on the brush.

 

Jergens Ultra Healing Lotion.

This is my new purse lotion. It was nice and creamy and had a light scent. I have been giving my hands and nails extra TLC thanks to Jamberry, and this lotion is meant for hands and nails, so it is perfect to keep my cuticles moisturized and my hands feeling soft.

 

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Berry Rose

This color is a little too much for every day wear (for me, at least), but it is very pretty and there are 25 other colors to choose from! It went on smooth and I didn’t need to put lip balm on first. It lasted quite a while and my lips felt soft.

 

Rimmel Moisture Renew Universal Transparent Lipliner

I didn’t know anything like this was out there! This lipliner is great because sometimes when I put on tinted balm or lip stick, I feel like it looks “messy” and needs some definition on the outside, but I don’t want to get a lipliner for every color I wear. This defines your lips and keeps the color from bleeding and can go with any color you’re wearing.

 

Clairol Hair Food

This hair mask nourishes and soothes dry hair with hydrating ingredients. It’s paraben and mineral oil free and infused with honey and apricot fragrances…the fragrance makes me think of the beach or suntan lotion, which is definitely a good thing! I need to be better about giving my hair extra treatment, so I’m looking forward to using this more often, especially as my hair gets longer.

 

Puffs Soft Pack.

I think Influenster knew my entire family was about to have colds, so they sent this to help us. Trent used to hate when we wiped his nose, but now when it starts running, he picks up the tissue pack and brings it to us while saying “tissue, tissue.” This soft pack is more transportable, since there is no cardboard box…I guess that means it’s more environmentally-friend too, huh?

I love the idea of a monthly box subscription and getting goodies delivered right to your doorstep, especially since I just don’t get the shopping time I used to get before I had kids. I like trying new things, but just don’t have the time to leisurely stroll through the store aisles looking for things to buy. However, I’m hesitant to try most box subscriptions because I don’t want to spend money and not like what I get. Sure, I know it’s a risk to take and I could end up loving everything in each and every box, but some boxes are really expensive and I’m just not ready for that.

So when I saw that Walmart was starting a new quarterly box subscription for just $5, I was intrigued. It’s the Walmart Beauty Box and every 3 months, Walmart will send a box with several beauty items in it for just $5, which they say is just to cover shipping and handling. $20 a year? I can handle that!

I ordered in time to receive the Fall Beauty Box and it arrived at my house very quickly, within just a few days.

Beauty goodies are my favorite!

I was really surprised to find 2 full-sized items in there…the Secret Clinical Strength deodorant (which is a favorite of mine and has to be worth at least $5 alone) and the L’oreal Glossy Balm.
