You know those people take a photo of every single thing they eat while on vacation? They wait patiently (most of the time) to take the first bite just so they can get the perfect image to share with other people? Yep, that’s us.
To celebrate the start of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, today’s photo is of…you guessed it, food!
This photo was taken at Via Napoli in the Italy Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot. We order the breaded calamari and spicy tomato sauce appetizer ever time. Each piece is golden and delicious. Via Napoli has plenty of natural light inside, so taking photos of all the food and details is easy.I could make an entire post out of tips for food photos, but the main tips would be this: -Take the photo before the first bite (this is the most difficult tip!) -Take a photo of the inside if the first photo doesn’t capture all the awesomeness inside (like for a cupcake with filling) -Make sure you have enough lighting to capture all of the details -Oh yeah…and make sure you look back at the photo to reminisce about it’s deliciousness 😉
I wanted the photo below to be much larger, but for some reason my Lightbox plugin that would allow it to open as a larger photo isn’t working, so I had to stick with the size (width) of the blog section. Sorry 🙁
Do you take photos of your food while on vacation?
