We recently found ourselves at Disney Springs during a slow day, so we decided to try a new-to-us restaurant: Blaze Pizza!
The past few times we walked by, the line was so incredibly long, so we turned around and went elsewhere. However, now that we see how fast the line moves, we wish we wouldn’t have turned around those other times! The line really does move quite fast, so don’t let it fool you!
The decor has like an rustic, outdoorsy feel…just look at this huge carved tree trunk door handle.
A large menu hangs overhead as soon as you enter. There are also paper menus for you to look at. The menu is fairly simplistic, with just one size pizza, instead focusing on your option to use their large toppings selection. This also allows them to be quick in their order processing.
Just before you order, there is a little grab and go section of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
they also have a drink station with fountain drinks, cold tea, and some unique flavored drinks.
You just tell them the cheeses and toppings you want as you go down the line. Or you can pick from one of their suggested topping combinations.
I didn’t notice it when we were there, but they have calorie counts on each item…which can either make you feel guilty or good about yourself. 😉
If you feel guilty, then there are some salad options at the end.
All the pizzas go into their large brick ovens.
They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
We got the Red Vine Pizza with big chunks of mozzarella, tomatoes and basil.
It was really delicious with lots of flavor.
The kids shared a cheese pizza. Trent isn’t a big fan of sauce (me? the more sauce the better!) so we were able to request light sauce and the kids ate a bunch, and then we finished the rest for them haha!
We will definitely be visiting Blaze Pizza again!
